How do our literature-supply services work?
Depending on the availability at our supplying libraries and other providers, we can supply (almost) any science article or abstract within a few hours to a few days. The easiest way to order from us is to browse EurekaMag and order with 1 Click.
We currently work with over 45 copyright-compliant literature suppliers worldwide. These suppliers pay all due copyright fees to the respective publishers or the rights-holders. This happens usually via the officially recognized copyright-collecting societies in individual countries.
Available types of journal articles/abstracts and book chapters:
1. Electronic article or abstract ($19.90): If you ordered an article/abstract which has been published electronically, we will email you the PDF immediately or within a maximum of 6 hours.
2. Scanned article or abstract ($29.90): Articles/abstracts which have only been published in print take up to 1 workday to supply. We need to request the scan from our international literature-retrieval partners, who currently include over 45 public and University libraries worldwide. This process is usually completed within 1 workday (Mon-Fri) but in rare circumstances (< 5%) this can take up to a maximum of 3 workdays.
You will receive the following 2 emails:
1. Immediately after ordering: An email from PayPal or Stripe containing the receipt of your payment.
2. Delivery after article/abstract retrieval: An email from us ([email protected]) containing (1) the bibliographic details of the article/abstract with (2) a PDF copy of the article/abstract attached. There are no downloads on our site. Please wait for our email and please check your Spam folder for this email.
If we cannot retrieve the ordered article or abstract, we will immediately refund your prepayment. In case copyright royalty fees significantly exceed the prepaid amount, we will also refund your payment and send you a custom payment link with the updated rate for the requested article/abstract. Since we promptly deliver electronic articles/abstracts or order scans from a supplier, we cannot provide refunds for such copyrighted materials except under very special circumstances. We are not Amazon and we are also not an online pharmacy! Due to copyright of our products, returns and refunds common in retail business do not apply.
Language of articles/abstracts:
Please note that while most references on our site include an English title and abstract, the language of the full article may not be in English. Please check the source (journal or book) if it is published in English or in another language. We are not responsible if you ordered an article not in English. We apply OCR in the native language of every article or abstract. This may help you translating articles authored in foreign language.

Please use the email address that you used during payment and include the 9-digit EurekaMag Accession Number of the article or abstract you purchased, e.g., '012345678'. Please note that the transaction IDs of PayPal and Stripe do not help us identifying your order since sellers and buyers receive different IDs.
