See also WA 23, 25. Further work with C 19 490 (piperophos) + C 18 898 (dimethametryn) in the ratio 4:1 (known as C 288) and piperophos + 2,4-D isopropyl ester in the ratio 2:1 and 3:2 was carried out. In toxicological studies using C 288, the acute dermal LD50 for rats was >2150 mg/kg. Residues of piperophos in rice grain and in soil were very low or undetectable while dimethametryn was detected at <0.04 ppm. in grain and <0.28 ppm. in soil.
