A study of pheromone trap catches in relation to codling moth (Lepidoptera: Olethreutidae) damage

A study of pheromone trap catches in relation to codling moth (Lepidoptera: Olethreutidae) damage

Canadian Entomologist 106(5): 525-537

In a study of a sex-pheromone trap as a quantitative sampling device in a biological monitoring scheme for assessing populations of Cydia (Laspeyresia) pomonella (L.) in apple orchards in Michigan in 1972, factors influencing its efficiency and the relation of the catch to adult density and the overall seasonal dynamics of C. pomonella were investigated.
