A survey in England and Wales for ring rot of potatoes caused by Corynebacterium sepedonicum

A survey in England and Wales for ring rot of potatoes caused by Corynebacterium sepedonicum

Plant Pathology 22(3): 126-128

The disease is not known to occur in Britain but was intercepted at English ports in 19 consignments of ware potatoes from Europe in 1958-67. No ring rot was detected in a survey of 4417 stored potato crops on farms in England and Wales in the winters of 1967-69.
