In a trial on soil of 13.4% o.m., barban (two formulations), tri-allate 10% granules, Bidisin haloxydine, WL 17731 (ethyl N-benzoyl-N-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-2-aminopropionate), chlortoluron and metoxuron were applied at the beginning of May when Avena fatua was at the 2.5-leaf stage and most of the wheat had 4 leaves on the main stem and 3 leaves on the first tiller.
