Dry seeds of oat Diadem and Caravelle were treated with various combinations of 10, 20 or 30 krad gamma -radiation and electromagnetic fields of 27, 150 or 300 oersted. The length of straw, the number of spikelets/panicle, the number of leaves/plant and the weight of seed/plant was in many cases increased in Diadem and decreased in Caravelle.
