Activation energy, the Van't-Hoff thermal coefficients, negentropy (- DELTA S) of some of the strength-giving properties and rate of dipole water relaxation (I) were calculated on the basis of data on the colloid-bound water contents in leaves of wheat and maize subjected to high temperatures. An equation showing the relationship between the rate of physiological processes occurring in plants and the rate of dipole water relaxation is given.
