(Treatment of wheat seed with) 2% Vitavax and 0.1-0.2% benlate gave complete control of Ustilago tritici infection and thiram decreased infection by 83.9%; Difoltan was ineffective. Fungicides had no adverse effect on germination except 0.2% benlate, which significantly decreased it.
