Comparative frost resistance of wild potato species

Comparative frost resistance of wild potato species

Trudy po Prikladnoi Botanike, Genetike i Selektsii 46(1): 63-69

Tabular data show the degree of cold resistance in entire plants and in leaf portions in 23 species and also the effects of hardening. The highest resistance was found in Solanum acaule, S. aemulans and S. sanctae-rosae, several others being listed as above the average.
