Comparative in-vitro and in-vivo studies on the susceptibility and resistance of several fowl lines to various leucosis and sarcoma strains.

Comparative in-vitro and in-vivo studies on the susceptibility and resistance of several fowl lines to various leucosis and sarcoma strains.

Archiv fur Geflugelkunde 35(Heft 5): 205-209

The resistance of chick embryo fibroblasts of different lines of fowls to Rous sarcoma virus agreed well with that of the birds themselves to experimental infection with the BAI-A strain. The resistance did not extend to other leucosis and lymphosarcoma viruses unrelated to the RIF/COFAl group.
