Comparative investigation of the chemical composition of the polysaccharides of the hemicelluloses in the cell-walls of the bark, cambial layer and wood of Scots Pine

Comparative investigation of the chemical composition of the polysaccharides of the hemicelluloses in the cell-walls of the bark, cambial layer and wood of Scots Pine

Khimiya Drevesiny (12): 49-53

Tabulates data on the chemical composition of outer bark and phloem samples in late May and early June from Pinus sylvestris trees 40-50 years old, and on the content of monosaccharides in hydrolysates of the polysaccharides of the cell-walls. Comparative data taken from the literature are also presented on the chemical composition of the cambial zone of the wood and for the wood.
