Reports a study similar to one already noticed for Pinus taeda Samples of oleoresin were taken from the branch cortex of six sets of trees of Pinus elliottii aged between 3 and 17 years in Georgia, Florida, and Mississippi. High concentrations of beta -phellandrene and resistance to Cronartium fusiforme were consistently related.
