Deposition of aerially applied 2,4,5-T at ultra low volume

Deposition of aerially applied 2,4,5-T at ultra low volume

Proceedings 26th Annual Meeting Southern Weed Science Society: 277

Studies on the effect of spray vol. on deposition at several locations in Texas, where 2,4,5-T in solutions with or without carrier (paraffin oil or diesel oil:water emulsions) was applied using Stearman-Ziegler equipment, showed little difference between the deposition from applications of 1 and 32 pints/acre, but further study is needed to determine the effect of environmental factors on drift and effectiveness of u.l.v. sprays.
