Journal of Rural Cooperation 2(1): 17-40

Part I of this article appeared in Journal of Rural Co-operation 1, 1-2, 1973, pp.31-40. Conclusions drawn from the study are: under capitalism certain successes were achieved in the development of the co-operatives, mainly in the fields of credit, trade, marketing and supply. The producers' co-operatives in the villages also achieved some success. Under socialism, all kinds of co-operatives were given full possibilities to develop.
