Diaprepes abbreviatus: control on citrus foliage with carbaryl

In field tests near Ponce, Puerto Rico, from November 1972 to August 1973 on the chemical control of adults of Diaprepes abbreviatus (L.) on orange foliage, a full-coverage spray of carbaryl (either mixed with pinolene or in a Sevin-4-oil formulation) at 1 lb toxicant/acre was the best treatment, giving at least 92% control 22 days after treatment.
