Diatraea saccharalis: response to laboratory selection with azinphosmethyl and carbofuran

Laboratory tests were carried out in Louisiana in 1971-72 on the development of resistance and cross-resistance in surviving examples of Diatraea saccharalis (F.) following topical applications of azinphos-methyl or carbofuran (calculated to give 90-95% mortality).
