For part 4 see NAR 43, 1496.5. In an experiment of Latin square design 5 sheep with fistulae in the abomasum and terminal ileum were given diets based on barley. Five diets were compared, one without protein supplement, 2 with different levels of fish meal and 2 with combinations of fish meal and urea.
