51 Holstein-Friesian cows were milked at 12-h intervals for 15 days, and the milk was weighed and sampled at each milking. Mean values for a.m. and p.m. milk respectively were: milk yield, 12.13 plus or minus 0.03 and 11.48 plus or minus 0.03 kg; fat %, 3.92 plus or minus 0.014 and 4.241 plus or minus 0.014; protein %, 3.280 plus or minus 0.002 and 3.366 plus or minus 0.002.
