In Lebedin heifers (10/group) first mated at 14-16, 16-18 and and >18 mth of age, body weight averaged 336.4, 352.3 and 409.0 kg resp. at mating, 492.3, 512.4 and 548.8 kg at calving, and 422, 462 and 494 kg one mth after calving; milk yield/300 days averaged 2123, 2644 and 2856 kg, fat percentage 3.83, 3.78 and 3.87, and protein percentage 3.53, 3.42 and 3.59.
