Klinische Wochenschrift 50(15): 732-738

A load of alcohol 0.75 g/kg bodyweight was given to 16 chronic alcoholics, 7 with fatty liver, 3 with incipient and 6 with advanced liver cirrhosis, after fasting overnight, and to 7 patients with liver cirrhosis and 12 with no liver disorder after a breakfast supplying 1008 kcal.
