Cambendazole, in a single dose ranging from 15 to 40 mg/kg body wt, was given by stomach tube to 20 sheep, parasitized by various nematodes, notably H. contortus, as indicated by faecal egg counts before treatment. Eight days later all sheep, with five controls, were killed, and the nematodes present in various segments of the digestive tract were identified and counted.
