Effect of colostrum-derived passive immunity in calves on the results of vaccination against foot and mouth disease

Effect of colostrum-derived passive immunity in calves on the results of vaccination against foot and mouth disease

Medycyna Weterynaryjna 27(12): 726-729

Serum neutralization tests showed that calves with colostrum-derived passive immunity did not respond to vaccination at an early age, though some responded from the age of 4 months, while calves of unvaccinated cows developed active immunity when vaccinated in the first few days of life.
