Abstract
The effects of various applications of Pyramin , applied alone or in combination to sugar beet were examined in 26 experiments carried out in various sugar-beet growing areas of Poland in 1968-71. The best weed control and the highest root and leaf yields (43.0 and 43.3 t/ha, respectively) were obtained with 3-4 kg pyramin/ha applied before sowing in combination with 6 l phenmedipham/ha after emergence.
