The P. notatum ecotypes Andre da Rocha and Capivari were compared with Pensacola when given 0, 150 or 300 kg N/ha and cut every 4, 6 or 8 weeks. Total forage production was similar for all tested, but Pensacola was superior in terms of percentage and total yields of CP. Increasing rates of N had no significant effect on DM production or CP yields.
