Effect of some antibiotics on the larvae Ascaris suum and on the course of lung ascaridosis

The effects of specified doses of 9 antibiotics - aureomycin, oxymycoin, tetracycline, streptomycin, procain-penicillin G, chloramphenicol, oleanodomycin, colimycin and neomycin - on experimental infections with Ascaris suum in mice were studied. The mice were grouped into those X-irradiated and those not X-irradiated before infection, and those X-irradiated but not subsequently infected; control groups in each case did not receive antibiotics.
