Effects of 2-Br- alpha -ergokryptine on plasma prolactin level during parturition and onset of lactation in cows

Effects of 2-Br- alpha -ergokryptine on plasma prolactin level during parturition and onset of lactation in cows

Experientia 28(6): 697-699

To study further the inhibitory effect of 2-Br- alpha -ergocryptine methane sulphate (CB 154) in pregnancy 3 cows kept under similar management to that described in the Abst. referred to below were studied. The treatment period for each cow lasted 12 days, and in that time each received 8 doses of 100 mg CB 154, given on 2 successive days, with intervals of 1 or 2 days between.
