Abstract
For 3 replicates of 16 crossbred pigs one diet was based on milo and 5 on wheat. The diets all had 15% crude protein except the last 2 which had 16 and 17% ; lysine contents were 0.79, 0.50, 0.60, 0.70, 0.59 and 0.69%. From 56 to 220 lb the pigs were group-fed in pens. Average daily gains were 1.71, 1.53, 1.66, 1.67, 1.64 and 1.62 lb and feed/lb gain was 3.44, 3.55 3.48, 3.39, 3.44 and 3.42 lb.
