Electrophoretic patterns of serum proteins in blue foxes with special reference to changes associated with nosematosis

Electrophoretic patterns of serum proteins in blue foxes with special reference to changes associated with nosematosis

Acta Veterinaria Scandinavica 16(2): 297-306

The serum proteins in a group of healthy breeders, a group of healthy pups and four groups of foxes with various diseases were separated electrophoretically on cellulose acetate membranes. In most of the sera, the proteins were separated into one albumin fraction and five globulin fractions designated alpha 1, alpha 2, alpha 3, beta and gamma.
