Abstract
In feeding trials, cattle were fed rations containing silage made from Pennisetum purpureum and hay containing 80% Macroptilium atropurpureum + 20% Glycine wightii. The DM, CP and digestible N contents were 30.8%, 2.9% of the DM and 38.2% of the DM, respectively, for the silage and 86.3%, 13.4% and 50% for the hay.
