Evaluation of response of different cultivars of spring wheat to fertilizers under conditions of low temperature

In experiments in phytotrons, different cultivars and hybrids of spring wheat revealed genotypic specificity in response to the application of fertilizers under conditions of low temperature in the root zone; the response was determined in relation to the rates of cell division in roots and of accumulation of hemicellulose and pectins.
