Experimental investigations on the yield and quality of garlic

, : Experimental investigations on the yield and quality of garlic. Acta Horticulturae (33): 43-49

A split plot experiment was carried out to evaluate the cvs Egyptian, Hudeiba and Darfour. Darfour yielded most, and bulbs planted on the west side of N.-S. ridges where the temperature was lower were larger than those on the east. Yield and survival were also higher on the west side.
