3. A further experiment is described with the same type of pig, weighing 40 kg at the beginning. There were 5 groups given 20% of the diet as different protein preparations: extracted soya oilmeal, rapeseed meal incubated with the same tuber pulp preparation as before, then extracted twice with water, rapeseed meal untreated, rapeseed meal washed twice with water and rapeseed meal incubated with pulp, not washed.
