Field performance of glyphosate derivatives in the control of Agropyron repens and other perennial weeds

Field performance of glyphosate derivatives in the control of Agropyron repens and other perennial weeds

Proceedings of the 11th British Weed Control Conference: 64-70

In trials in locations ranging from Great Britain to South Africa excellent control of such species as Agropyron repens, Cynodon dactylon, Pennisetum clandestinum, Convolvulus arvensis and Cyperus rotundus was obtained with glyphosate at 1.5 to 4 kg/ha. Glyphosate or its derivatives applied immediately before or after sowing showed no soil activity on a variety of crops.
