Formation of the economic effectiveness of investments in orchards in the light of organization and management

, : Formation of the economic effectiveness of investments in orchards in the light of organization and management. Acta Horticulturae (28): 75-83

Production results of orchards on Polish state farms are analyzed for the period 1962 to 1970. The relationship between costs and price ranged from 1:2 to 1:4 over the period under review. The most progressive farms had greater records of investment. It is generally concluded, however, that on most state farms there are considerable reserves capable of increased production.
