Genesis and ecology of soils of slopes affected by lateral movement of water

Genesis and ecology of soils of slopes affected by lateral movement of water

"Pseudogley and Gley" Transactions of Commissions V and VI of the International Society of Soil Science: 187-194

The effects of lateral water movement on the intensification of soil forming processes (migration of bases, decalcification/calcification, surface water gleying and podzolization) are discussed in relation to pedogenesis in Braunerde/podzol, Braunerde/pseudogley, parabraunerde/pseudogley and rendzina/pelosol catenary sequences.
