Genetic parameters of economically important characters of Bulgarian Red cattle. 2. Relationships between dairy performance characters of cows housed indoors

Genetic parameters of economically important characters of Bulgarian Red cattle. 2. Relationships between dairy performance characters of cows housed indoors

Zhivotnov"dni Nauki 10(7): 3-9

For 540 daughters of Danish Red bulls and for 159 daughters of Danish Red X Bulgarian Red bulls, the correlation of milk yield with milk fat percentage was -0.19 and -0.25 resp., with protein percentage -0.18 and -0.15, and with protein yield 0.98 and 0.98. The correlation of milk fat percentage with protein percentage was 0.27 and 0.28, and of milk fat yield with protein yield 0.96 and 0.96.
