Geographic variation in resistance to White Pine weevil (Pissodes strobi) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) by Eastern White Pine (Pinus strobus)

Geographic variation in resistance to White Pine weevil (Pissodes strobi) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) by Eastern White Pine (Pinus strobus)

Canadian Entomologist 105(2): 347-350

In 1963, 4-year-old seedlings of Pinus strobus from 12 provenances in Canada and the USA were planted out in southern Ontario, and assessments of damage by Pissodes strobi were made in 1970 and 1971.
