Germination of pollen grains on the stigma in inbred radish lines and their hybrids

The results are presented of a study of the germination rate of pollen grains on the stigma surface in two inbred lines and their F1 hybrids from different cross combinations. Pollen germination was markedly lower in the inbred lines than their parental variety; the line LS337/24 had the lowest germination rate in all combinations.
