Experiments were performed on the convective heat transfer between a tube and a milk powder-air mixture immediately after mixing in the entrance region of the tube. Logarithmic relationships were obtained between Nusselt number for the mixture, Reynolds number for air flow, and the convective capacitive parameter which connects powder heat capacity and air heat capacity.
