Height, weight, lean body mass and arm circumference standards for Tanzanian children aged 7-16 years

A longitudinal study of height and weight of boys and girls from 7 to 16 years old at school in Dar es Salaam was made from school records for 1967 to 1971. Cross-sectional surveys of body growth and physique were made of 340 boys and 341 girls attending rural schools; height, weight, skin-fold thickness at 4 sites, from which lean body mass (LBM) was calculated, and upper arm circumference were measured.
