Neutralizing antibody was determined in blood and milk from sows which farrowed 12-23 days after the start of an outbreak of TGE. Blood samples were collected at farrowing and a week later, while milk samples were collected at farrowing and 3, 5 and 7 days later. Piglet mortality fell as antibody titres rose.
