Influence of dietary copper on the fatty acid composition of adipose tissue lipids and on the level and composition of plasma free fatty acids in growing pigs fed individually or in groups

Influence of dietary copper on the fatty acid composition of adipose tissue lipids and on the level and composition of plasma free fatty acids in growing pigs fed individually or in groups

Canadian Journal of Animal Science 55(3): 315-324

Barley and fish meal diets with or without Cu 250 mg/kg were given to 4 groups of 6 pigs fed individually or in groups. Blood was sampled after 6 weeks and the pigs were killed at 75 kg liveweight. Method of feeding or Cu did not significantly affect growth or carcass quality.
