Influence of planting date and density of mother plants on production of carnation cuttings under protection in Riviera Ligure

, : Influence of planting date and density of mother plants on production of carnation cuttings under protection in Riviera Ligure. Acta Horticulturae (43 (1)): 153-160

Carnation mother plants White Sim were planted in a heated glasshouse at densities of 34.6, 51.3, 63.3 or 91 plants/m2 in August, September, October or November. The production of cuttings/m2 increased with plant density and was greatest in the August planting.
