Influence of the feeding level during gestation of the rabbit. I. Reproductive performance

Influence of the feeding level during gestation of the rabbit. I. Reproductive performance

Annales de Zootechnie 24(2): 267-279

65 Californian rabbit does were either (i) fed ad lib. from mating until weaning, or (ii) restricted to 140 g feed/day during gestation followed by ad lib. feeding until weaning. Daily feed intake of does on (i) was 200-240 g during the 1st two-thirds of gestation and then decreased to 100-130 g during the last 5 days pre-partum.
