Interaction between wheat varieties and strains of the fungus Cercosporella herpotrichoides Fron

Interaction between wheat varieties and strains of the fungus Cercosporella herpotrichoides Fron

Hodowla Roslin, Aklimatyzacja i Nasiennictwo 18(5): 313-326

The reactions of ten winter varieties to exposure at the 4-5-leaf stage of development to eight strains of C. herpotrichoides were differential. Strain C66 was the most virulent but Capelle, the most resistant variety overall, showed substantial resistance to it. E02411 and Kolibri, however, which were quite susceptible to strain C66, were more resistant than Capelle to several other strains.
