Presents preliminary results of studies of between-tree variation in d.b.h., height, total volume and density of the wood, and late-wood % in 11-year-old Pinus elliottii var. densa from plantations near Fort Myers, Florida In general, the differences are fairly large, and the patterns of variation seem similar to those for other Southern Pines.
