Investigations on the determination and pathogenicity of the fungal flora of fruit nursery soils in Izmir



Journal of Turkish Phytopathology 4(1): 9-22



Thirty-four fungal genera were isolated from soils of the region and of these Alternaria, Fusarium, Phoma, Pythium, Sclerotium and Verticillium species were used in pathogenicity tests on peach, apricot, almond, apple, olive and citrus seedlings where, in all cases, they retarded root growth.
