Levels of vitamin A and B12 and some physiological indices in piglets originating from sows kept on differentiated diet

2 control sows were fed a basic ration while a 3rd received the basal ration supplemented with "M-Bek" and 10 000 IU vitamin A and 1500 IU vitamin D3/day and 50 mu g vitamin B12 intramuscularly every other day. During lactation the latter sow was given 5 l. milk/day; the control sows received 1 l. milk/day during pregnancy and 4 l./day during lactation. Analysis of the basic ration showed that it was deficient in vitamin A and B12.
