In trials during 4 years at Ermelo, average seed yields of 10 lupin were 24.33, 10.83, 4.25 and 6.37 bags (70 kg)/ha when sown after the 1st rain in Sept./Oct., mid-Nov. to mid-Dec., mid-Feb to mid-Mar. and in Apr., respectively. L. angustifolius Ligvoet and U-1482 gave the highest seed yields, 28.2 and 27.8 bags/ha, respectively.
