British Patent: (1 316 718)



A sour milk beverage may be made by acidifying with citric or lactic acid a pasteurized mixture of skim-milk (100 g) and sugar (100 g) to pH of e.g. 3.52, dilution with water to 1000 g, readjustment of pH to 3.52, addition of a flavouring, carbonation, bottling and pasteurization at 60 deg C for 30 min.
